KAC's Miss 10th Grade, Elizabeth Shelby works to squash Food Deserts

The Urban Food Network (UFN) was founded to educate, inspire and provide families who live in food deserts access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

By providing people in the community access to fresh fruits, vegetables and nutritional education, it can assist in the fight against obesity and other chronic diseases which can lead to a healthier communities.
